DH-10 Additional Specs.
1. Additional Specifications
2. Built to Industrial Standards From Quality Components
3. Application
4. Other Usage
Additional Specifications:
Humidistat Sensing Element: Long Nylon Ribbon
Starting current or draw: 1.62 AMPS RLA (Running Load Amps).
This in watts is 194.4 watts.
Running Amps: 1.5 Amps.
This in watts is 150 watts Max. This means it will run at around 150 watts
max.
Inverter recommendation: If you need to plug the unit into an
inverter, we recommend buying an inverter of at least 300
watts since the inverter itself will draw some 30 watts or so. If you plan
to connect a laptop, cell phone or medical device to your inverter, you
might want to consider an inverter that uses a pure sine wave. Our
dehumidifier is not as picky and so it will run on either a pure sine wave
or a Modified sine wave inverter. The more watts the inverter is rated for
the more appliances you will be able to connect to it. Therefore the more (i.e watts) the merrier.

Humidistat: Automatic Switching Control to level you preset
Brand: Honeywell
Scale Range: 20% RH - 80% RH
Sensing Element: Long Nylon ribbon
Operating Temperature Range: 50F to 125F (10C to 52C)
Adjustments: Control Knob for setting %RH levels + On and OFF positions
The numbers on the control knob correspond to the %RH (Relative Humidity)
50%RH recommended for most boat and rv applications
accuracy of these setting ± 5%RH
Accuracy of the %RH settings can be achieved by synchronizing the
unit with a good hygrometer.
Although not needed Additional %RH settings can be achieved with an
accessory called a humidity
controller.
The humidistat will restart the unit
once humidity levels have increased 5%RH

Application:
More effective for humidity control than air conditioning (20% to 80%
humidity level selection)
More economical than air conditioning (150 watts at 115 volts AC) especially
in an unoccupied boat or RV
Effective in applications of 1000 sq feet or less (150 cu. Ft. of air per
minute)
Effective in applications where continuous draining is necessary (no bucket
to empty)
Summer Application: Humidity Control in Boats and RVs and other
suited applications during hot and humid conditions with the objective being
to reduce mold and mildew growth.
Off Season Application: Boat and RV Storage during hot and humid conditions with the objective being
to reduce mold and mildew growth.
Mild Weather Application: Humidity Control in Boats and RVs during
mild weather conditions with the objective being to reduce Condensation on
cold surfaces.
Note: the dehumidifier, is not recommend for unattended operation
in below 50°F temperature. Our customers around this time (mild weather) are
on liveaboards and motor homes, where the indoor temperature is set for
personal comfort, so the temperature for them is within allowable usage
limits.
